Waste Water Treatment at Palette o’ Green ‘n Red

We designed and implemented a water treatment system based on DEWATS (De-Centralized Waste Water Treatment System) - that uses only natural processes and gravity flow.

We have two parallel systems, for gray water and black water.

This water flows through a series of anaerobic tanks, and an aerobic reed garden. This system is still upcoming, and we plan to re-use the water for irrigating flowering and fruiting plants. And use the solid remains as fertilizer for flowering plants.
